Spectators: 5200 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ave Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Obando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Blen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Leather having to interfere. Calvin Leather made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ronald Villalobos sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wroughton FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Calvin Leather had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Gilberto Obando's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 10th minute, Gilberto Obando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calvin Leather was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gilberto Obando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Calvin Leather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josue Talamanca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Bridgewater in the 25th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ave Fenix's Calvin Leather threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilberto Obando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ave Fenix's Cid Leiton got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Wroughton FC's zone, Gilberto Obando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvin Leather came out of the goal and Gilberto Obando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Blen struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Calvin Leather didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ave Fenix. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Obando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Obando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calvin Leather having to make a save. Gilberto Obando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wroughton FC's zone, Miguel Blen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvin Leather came out of the goal and Miguel Blen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Blen in the 57th minute of play forced Wroughton FC's goalkeeper Calvin Leather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Gilberto Obando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Wroughton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buster Power to maneuver through the defense. Ave Fenix's Gilberto Obando got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Obando in the 74th minute of play forced Wroughton FC's goalkeeper Calvin Leather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buster Power's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josue Talamanca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Calvin Leather took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Blen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Gilberto Obando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ave Fenix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Wroughton FC's Calvin Leather played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cid Leiton in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Wroughton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Wilkinson to maneuver through the defense. Calvin Leather showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Obando in the 90th minute of the match. Jamie Bridgewater kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wroughton FC's zone, Cid Leiton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvin Leather came out of the goal and Cid Leiton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
