Alvin Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Mena in the 67th minute of the match. Omar Sanabria made a great header on Real Rosario Central's corner, it was just that Cobano AFC's Alvin Lopez managed to reach the ball for a save. Rogelio Guadamuz charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Guadamuz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Cobano AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvin Lopez should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edwin Carvajal during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cobano AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! Salomon Esquivel shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Rosario Central walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
