Calvin Leather breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calvin Leather didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heriberto Arguedas went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute of the match, Jamie Bridgewater tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Granados saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Omar Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heriberto Arguedas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Calvin Leather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calvin Leather showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Garcia in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Wroughton FC's Loyd Woodcock got a free kick in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Kris Wilkinson charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Barcelona FC's Irvin Duarte shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Calvin Leather but with some difficulty. With his leg Calvin Leather managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Barcelona FC's Elvis Villafranca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Wroughton FC booed when Barcelona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wroughton FC's Calvin Leather proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Wroughton FC from getting a goal against them. Barcelona FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
