Spectators: 5200 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 0) Emilio Lozano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Sanabria in the 6th minute of play forced Ave Fenix's goalkeeper Josue Talamanca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cid Leiton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Emilio Maldonado made a huge save. Josue Talamanca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Lozano went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pascual Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josue Talamanca having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Real Rosario Central's Emilio Lozano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josue Talamanca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Real Rosario Central's goalkeeper Emilio Maldonado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cid Leiton. Real Rosario Central's Emilio Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Obando in the 35th minute of play. Emilio Maldonado made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cid Leiton sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Real Rosario Central booed when Ave Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Obando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josue Talamanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Sanabria in the 75th minute of play. After 82 minutes, Luis Pinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Rosario Central and the Ave Fenix players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Real Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Ave Fenix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Rosario Central the free kick. Ave Fenix's Josue Talamanca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Ave Fenix from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Real Rosario Central could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ave Fenix throughout the match.
