GALÁCTICOS FC's Alvaro Alfaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kamuk. After a rather tough play, Kamuk's Adrian Rosabal got a free kick in the 18th minute. Elvis Brenes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Villareal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Martinez's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Kamuk's goalkeeper Raul Villareal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvis Brenes. GALÁCTICOS FC's Alvaro Alfaro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raul Villareal but with some difficulty. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Martinez couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Adrian Rosabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Alfaro, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Elvis Brenes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tito Figueres was the one to do the kick off.
