Santa Ana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee ignored Santa Ana's protests and gave Salvador Saborio a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Santa Ana got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Saborio. 35 minutes into the game, Bernardo Merino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Novus72's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Ana the free kick. In the 35th minute, one of Novus72:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Novus72. Novus72:s Benito Sancho showed great skill when he stopped Donald Contreras:s penalty. 42 minutes into the match, Salvador Saborio notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Novus72's Benito Sancho. Benito Sancho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

If 陆傲宽 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
