Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tortuguero's Manuel Guillen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Pingones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Paniagua to maneuver through the defense. Ronald Huetar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Paniagua in the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Paniagua in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronald Huetar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giovanni Paniagua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ronald Huetar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Manuel Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elmer Arrieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reynaldo Santamaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giovanni Paniagua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elmer Arrieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Guillen in the 29th minute of play. Rafael Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Pingones FC's Salvador Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrei Paniagua's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Ronald Huetar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ronald Huetar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luis Mejias. After 40 played minutes Pingones FC got a freekick which was hit by Michael Oses. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrei Paniagua to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Pingones FC were awarded a corner. Andrei Paniagua went to the cornerflag to take it. Ronald Huetar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Paniagua in the 55th minute of the match. If Andrei Paniagua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmer Arrieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Villareal in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Andrei Paniagua notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tortuguero's Ronald Huetar. Ronald Huetar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Giovanni Paniagua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pingones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovanni Paniagua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Huetar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute Andrei Paniagua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Huetar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tortuguero getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fabio Villareal hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Giovanni Paniagua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Pingones FC's Andrei Paniagua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronald Huetar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ronald Huetar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Paniagua, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Giovanni Paniagua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Andrei Paniagua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronald Huetar was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Pingones FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
