Spectators: 9265 (Terracing: 6980, Seating: 2100, VIP seats: 185) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Teodoro Talamanca made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Perez Zeledon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Acuña came free, but Elvis Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Perez Zeledon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Morales to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Nacho Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Reiner Talamanca made a precise shot to the right of Elvis Ramirez. Perez Zeledon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Teodoro Talamanca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Victoro. Grecia Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Talamanca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Franklin Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvis Ramirez having to interfere. Grecia Futbol Club's Reiner Talamanca got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elvis Ramirez was a little too slow when Macho Cespedes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. After a rather tough play, Grecia Futbol Club's Macho Cespedes got a free kick in the 29th minute. Teodoro Talamanca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacho Acuña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvis Ramirez having to make a save. 33 minutes into the game, Oscar Leiton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perez Zeledon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grecia Futbol Club the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Oscar Leiton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match, Reiner Talamanca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elvis Ramirez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Perez Zeledon FC's Elvis Ramirez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Perez Zeledon FC from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Nacho Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvis Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Molina in the 42nd minute of play. Elvis Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Acuña, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nacho Acuña to make the kick off. Franklin Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvis Ramirez having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Reiner Talamanca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvis Ramirez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berny Camacho during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berny Camacho kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Elvis Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reiner Talamanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Grecia Futbol Club's Nacho Acuña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvis Ramirez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 75 minutes into the match, Nacho Acuña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvis Ramirez. Perez Zeledon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nacho Acuña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Nacho Molina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvis Ramirez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reiner Talamanca in the 83rd minute of play forced Perez Zeledon FC's goalkeeper Elvis Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes, Nacho Acuña made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Perez Zeledon FC's Elvis Ramirez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute of the match, Clodomiro Guillen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emiliano Victoro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Perez Zeledon FC's Elvis Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reiner Talamanca in the 92nd minute of play. Elvis Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reiner Talamanca in the 94th minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Nacho Acuña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perez Zeledon FC's Elvis Ramirez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Grecia Futbol Club had played much better football throughout.
