Vinicio Medina started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Barrio Mexico's goalkeeper 温竞海 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Gaueko. A hard shot 4 in the game by Julian Gaueko from a close distance when the talented 温竞海 managed to make a qualified save. Barrio Mexico's players were relieved. 温竞海 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Medina in the 6th minute of play. 温竞海 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Medina in the 8th minute of the match. Julian Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. 温竞海 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Gaueko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but 温竞海 made a huge save. 温竞海 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macho Madrigal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th match minute, Barrio Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Söderqvist to maneuver through the defense. 温竞海 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Villalobos in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Vinicio Medina took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for 温竞海 to make any attempt to save it. Virgilio Rojas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrey Panfilov, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Amador Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes PUNTARENAS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Medina. In the 34th match minute, Barrio Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Lara to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Julian Gaueko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 温竞海 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Macho Madrigal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrey Panfilov to strike the kick off in the second half. Barrio Mexico's 温竞海 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Gaueko in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrio Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricardo Gutxi was slow to take the kick. During this time PUNTARENAS F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ricardo Gutxi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barrio Mexico's 温竞海 did a great save. 温竞海 came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by PUNTARENAS F.C's Vinicio Medina. But to his dismay, Vinicio Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Vinicio Medina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 温竞海 was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 温竞海 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macho Madrigal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Medina in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 温竞海 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vinicio Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. 温竞海 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Nahuel Molina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrio Mexico's goalkeeper 温竞海, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Federico Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. PUNTARENAS F.C made a substitution. Ciro Teles replaced Agustin Villalobos. Federico Lara hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Medina in the 81st minute of play forced Barrio Mexico's goalkeeper 温竞海 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Nuñez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 温竞海 was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 温竞海 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chucky Norris in the 84th minute of the match. Barrio Mexico's 潘飞梁 was substituted for Amador Turi. Barrio Mexico's Bo Törnkvist was substituted for Andrey Panfilov. After 87 minutes Barrio Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardo Gutxi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ricardo Gutxi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 温竞海 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vinicio Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 温竞海 having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barrio Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PUNTARENAS F.C.
