PUNTARENAS F.C's Virgilio Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hong Zheng in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Gaueko got free with Denis Uzuri in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, CD SHETTANI's Denis Uzuri got control of the ball when Leopoldo Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. CD SHETTANI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Vinicio Medina scored to the left of an out of position Denis Uzuri, making the score, 1-0. Virgilio Rojas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hong Zheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Ye Chao Rong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD SHETTANI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ye Chao Rong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Maciejewski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Virgilio Rojas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. PUNTARENAS F.C's Virgilio Rojas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save PUNTARENAS F.C from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mainor Calderon got free with Virgilio Rojas in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the match, CD SHETTANI's goal looked a bit too open when Macho Madrigal came free, but Denis Uzuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
