The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Lara during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Federico Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Frid in the 23rd minute of play forced Barrio Mexico's goalkeeper 温竞海 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josue Bolaños kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Barrio Mexico's Federico Lara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elar Queron came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrio Mexico reached it. Reiner Naranjo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but 温竞海 made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Barrio Mexico's zone, Vinicio Ulate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 温竞海 came out of the goal and Vinicio Ulate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elar Queron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Törnkvist's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Reiner Naranjo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Barrio Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nahuel Molina to maneuver through the defense. Reiner Naranjo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pamplona FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
