The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mevlüt Vecdet in the 21st minute of play forced Carrizalillo FBC's goalkeeper Cayo Rabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayo Rabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Psotka in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mevlüt Vecdet in the 27th minute of play forced Carrizalillo FBC's goalkeeper Cayo Rabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carrizalillo FBC's zone, Mevlüt Vecdet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayo Rabel came out of the goal and Mevlüt Vecdet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 played minutes Carrizalillo FBC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Mor. Mevlüt Vecdet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Carrizalillo FBC's Artemio Orduña got a free kick in the 46th minute. Mevlüt Vecdet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Carrizalillo FBC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SANTOS were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mevlüt Vecdet to make the kick off. Teodor Pons hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Veronica Videgaray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrizalillo FBC. Cayo Rabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Psotka in the 68th minute of play. Paul Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Damazy Psotka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paul Mendez fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrizalillo FBC's protests and gave Paul Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Damazy Psotka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When %teams%'s Damazy Psotka was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-3 just inside the left pole, 84 minutes into the game. Cayo Rabel was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. 87 minutes into the match, SANTOS's Damazy Psotka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayo Rabel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cayo Rabel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. The supporters of SANTOS booed when Carrizalillo FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Mor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over SANTOS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carrizalillo FBC throughout the match.
