Destino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mikel Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoilo Contero in the 15th minute of play. Destino's Salamon Gurruchaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mannie Buergo in the 17th minute of play. Erasmo Blancas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mikel Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Via sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Destino getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Zoilo Contero hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Destino's goalkeeper Salamon Gurruchaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Via. Mikel Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iratxo Cardeña in the 30th minute of the match. Cugat Cuartas kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Leonel Via scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salamon Gurruchaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iratxo Cardeña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikel Rocha having to interfere. Destino's Erasmo Blancas got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikel Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoilo Contero, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Zoilo Contero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antotana FBC's Mikel Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikel Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Blancas went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoilo Contero was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Blanco Carabajo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Leonel Via cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Salamon Gurruchaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Arraña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mikel Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Antotana FBC's Mikel Rocha got control of the ball when Iratxo Cardeña tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute Paskal Incera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salamon Gurruchaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Destino got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Blancas. Salamon Gurruchaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mannie Buergo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 72 in the game by Iratxo Cardeña from a close distance when the talented Mikel Rocha managed to make a qualified save. Antotana FBC's players were relieved. Destino's Salamon Gurruchaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blanco Carabajo in the 74th minute of play. If Erasmo Blancas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iratxo Cardeña charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iratxo Cardeña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Destino got a freekick which was hit by Iratxo Cardeña. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Via during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Leonel Via hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Antotana FBC got a freekick which was hit by Blanco Carabajo. 3-2 became the score in the 87th minute when Emilio Arraña elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Blanco Carabajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salamon Gurruchaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mannie Buergo in the 94th minute of the match. Iratxo Cardeña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikel Rocha having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Antotana FBC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Destino had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
