Quintyn Hornedo's late challenge caught a Chicoroyo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quintyn Hornedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Quintyn Hornedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Yuncaypara defense, Mazuste Penilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Intxixu Huelga. The Yuncaypara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Intxixu Huelga should have stopped the shot. Marz Vidania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zunbeltz Burdeos in the 12th minute of the match. When Tristan Arias came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Yuncaypara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Arias couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes Chicoroyo got a freekick which was hit by Justino Herreria. A hard shot 17 in the game by Tristan Arias from a close distance when the talented Marz Vidania managed to make a qualified save. Chicoroyo's players were relieved. If Mazuste Penilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Yuncaypara's goal looked a bit too open when Mazuste Penilla came free, but Intxixu Huelga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Severo Caamaño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mazuste Penilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Chicoroyo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tristan Arias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yuncaypara's Zunbeltz Burdeos got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tristan Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chicoroyo's Fiz Regil got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mazuste Penilla made a kick off. When Tristan Arias came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Yuncaypara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Arias couldn't finish the play. Zunbeltz Burdeos spun around in front of the goal 67 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Chicoroyo's goal. Tristan Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marz Vidania tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zunbeltz Burdeos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Tristan Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yuncaypara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristan Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mazuste Penilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marz Vidania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Arias in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Arias in the 86th minute of play forced Chicoroyo's goalkeeper Marz Vidania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Domingos Merayo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yuncaypara's protests and gave Domingos Merayo a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Merayo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Mazuste Penilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chicoroyo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazuste Penilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Grabiel Manzano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Intxixu Huelga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
