Millrick Fonseca hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Robustiano Xandri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luzaide Tramontes in the 9th minute of the match. Luzaide Tramontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joao Axeitos's late challenge caught a Joneline's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joao Axeitos helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Cienciano got a freekick which was hit by Joao Axeitos. Vladimiro Besteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bordat Retes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Norbert Vágner made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Xandri. Cienciano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Luzaide Tramontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joneline fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Robustiano Xandri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Vágner in the 37th minute of the match. When Loiola Aguiriano fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienciano's protests and gave Loiola Aguiriano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Cienciano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loiola Aguiriano to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Xandri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Vágner, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Robustiano Xandri came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Joneline's Norbert Vágner. But to his dismay, Norbert Vágner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Besteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Josu Aizaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Loiola Aguiriano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marshall Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cienciano's Conrado Leira got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Bazil Gascon came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Cienciano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bazil Gascon couldn't finish the play. Bazil Gascon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Norbert Vágner notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Cienciano's Robustiano Xandri. Robustiano Xandri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the game, Joneline's Norbert Vágner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Xandri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Cienciano's zone, Norbert Vágner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Xandri came out of the goal and Norbert Vágner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Vladimiro Besteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Xandri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joneline's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
