Maurino Mobilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandalio Arellanes was a little too slow when Fortunato Area got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Senolen's Senin Loriga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferman Agüero in the 34th minute of play. When Senolen's Lisandro Muste in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chucanito's goalie prevented a goal. Fortunato Area struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Sandalio Arellanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senolen.

The wind increased when Ferman Agüero made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Chucanito's Paul Faso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paul Faso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chucanito protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paul Faso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chucanito fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Fortunato Area sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Fortunato Area managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Senolen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Area was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandalio Arellanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Muste in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Senolen's zone, Maurino Mobilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Senin Loriga came out of the goal and Maurino Mobilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Muste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandalio Arellanes having to interfere. Sandalio Arellanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Muste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Mobilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Senin Loriga made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Maurino Mobilla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Zumar Ripalta's late challenge caught a Chucanito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zumar Ripalta helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Senin Loriga, was totally fooled by Chucanito's Xavian Recasens, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 79th minute Lisandro Muste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandalio Arellanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurino Mobilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Senin Loriga having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortunato Area in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandalio Arellanes saved Chucanito from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
