Pomay's Xabier Menoyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Pomay from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Pomay getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Dolfo Ochotorena hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Emiliano Rameriz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pomay's Xabier Menoyo didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodney Jordo during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Pomay got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Jordo. Xabier Menoyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Driesen in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Isadoro Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rami Acuña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the game, miramar's Emiliano Rameriz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xabier Menoyo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Xabier Menoyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Pomay's goalkeeper Xabier Menoyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Rameriz. Xabier Menoyo was a little too slow when Emiliano Rameriz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Pomay's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Driesen came free, but Xabier Menoyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Emiliano Rameriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. miramar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Rameriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Kevin Driesen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Xabier Menoyo, passed just outside the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Rameriz made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Emiliano Rameriz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xabier Menoyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Emiliano Rameriz struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Xabier Menoyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for miramar. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Rameriz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xabier Menoyo was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. miramar's Emiliano Rameriz got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pomay's Xabier Menoyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Driesen in the 66th minute of play. Rami Acuña made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Ritchie Chicoime sent off a good shot on target. Kevin Driesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabier Menoyo having to interfere. In the 76th minute Humphry Easther shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xabier Menoyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rami Acuña was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Isadoro Vargas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isadoro Vargas really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Kevin Driesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Kevin Driesen notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Pomay's Xabier Menoyo. Xabier Menoyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kevin Driesen struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Xabier Menoyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for miramar.
