To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xamin Larramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Ciaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xamin Larramendi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignazio Odoardo having to make a save. The referee gave peruvian FBC a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. Caballero's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sauveur Monagray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Txema Montenegro in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriz Negral got free with Sauveur Monagray in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
