Gabino Monteserins short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Pelagius Gurbista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Felippe Caballol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paquito Barbero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elequemedo Bailina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute of the match Bahiano Nava shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paquito Barbero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pelagius Gurbista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabino Monteserin in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Huertahuayjo booed when Putuscuma FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Hostos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Dorrial hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Huertahuayjo's Paquito Barbero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Sanz in the 23rd minute of play. Ronaldo Barrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabino Monteserin took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pelagius Gurbista. Pelagius Gurbista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A hard shot 34 in the game by Felippe Caballol from a close distance when the talented Pelagius Gurbista managed to make a qualified save. Putuscuma FBC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elija Solarriba in the 39th minute of play forced Huertahuayjo's goalkeeper Paquito Barbero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabino Monteserin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelagius Gurbista having to interfere. Huertahuayjo's Felippe Caballol got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Elija Solarriba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paquito Barbero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elija Solarriba made a kick off. Ronaldo Barrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pelagius Gurbista having to make a save. In the 55th minute, Ixidor Ricaredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zoil Aristegui, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pelagius Gurbista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabino Monteserin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Gabino Monteserin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christiano Hurones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pelagius Gurbista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabino Monteserin in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Huertahuayjo's Gabino Monteserin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelagius Gurbista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pelagius Gurbista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabino Monteserin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huertahuayjo's Evaristo Dorrial got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pelagius Gurbista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabino Monteserin's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Pelagius Gurbista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabino Monteserin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pelagius Gurbista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabino Monteserin went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ronaldo Barrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelagius Gurbista having to interfere. Gabino Monteserin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Eloy Andrino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huertahuayjo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Andrino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Ronaldo Barrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute of the match Ixidor Ricaredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pelagius Gurbista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Huertahuayjo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
