Giro Victorica might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronaldo Afonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giro Victorica ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simao Gurruchaga got free with Ronaldo Afonso in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Suro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Utcune were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Evangelista Macias made the kick off in the second half. Hats Querijazu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Aitor Sator made a huge save. The supporters of Suro booed when Utcune was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose-Antonio Minilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Utcune's Hats Querijazu got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Evangelista Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evangelista Macias scored 1-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aitor Sator, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ladio Flores hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Utcune's zone, Simao Gurruchaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Afonso came out of the goal and Simao Gurruchaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Simao Gurruchaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldo Afonso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Hats Querijazus short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Aitor Sator to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
