Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hipolito Macias started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, David Uja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bitama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ataumarca the free kick. After 3 played minutes Bitama got a freekick which was hit by David Uja. After a defensive mix-up in Ataumarca's zone, Leocadio Herreras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Rincon came out of the goal and Leocadio Herreras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimundo Rincon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Uja in the 9th minute of the match. Mendiko Bujia didn't quite understand what happened when in the 12 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 15th minute, David Uja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leocadio Herreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Raimundo Rincon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Bitama's Leocadio Herreras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Rincon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mendiko Bujia struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Gomez Balensuela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ataumarca. If Mendiko Bujia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mendiko Bujia struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Macias got free with Gomez Balensuela in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ataumarca's Raimundo Rincon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Uja in the 44th minute of play. Gomez Balensuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mendiko Bujia in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Uja to strike the kick off in the second half. Gomez Balensuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mendiko Bujia in the 64th minute of play. Leocadio Herreras might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Rincon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leocadio Herreras ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Rollan's late challenge caught a Bitama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Rollan helped the player get up and apologised. Mendiko Bujia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Balensuela having to interfere. Hipolito Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gomez Balensuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Leocadio Herreras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Rincon. Ataumarca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leocadio Herreras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
