After having played for 8 minutes, Satordi Grillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quimpapalca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Satordi Grillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oxel Campon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaskon Valdaliso in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Vizcacha getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Orlondo Manzarias hit a great ball. When Satordi Grillo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Quimpapalca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Satordi Grillo couldn't finish the play. Oxel Campon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Satordi Grillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Satordi Grillo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Quimpapalca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Satordi Grillo couldn't finish the play. Burni Carreras kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Franco Sañez put in a rough tackle. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vizcacha! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Quimpapalca FC. Ramirez Sierralta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oxel Campon. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belasko Cimbrelo during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vizcacha getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Belasko Cimbrelo hit a great ball. Oxel Campon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaskon Valdaliso's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Belasko Cimbrelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belasko Cimbrelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute of the match, Gaskon Valdaliso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oxel Campon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Satordi Grillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Gayangos's late challenge caught a Quimpapalca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Gayangos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vizcacha's Silvio Gayangos got a free kick in the 65th minute. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Satordi Grillo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Oxel Campon to make any attempt to save it. In the 71st minute, Belasko Cimbrelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gaskon Valdaliso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vizcacha's Oxel Campon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Vizcacha from getting a goal against them. Belasko Cimbrelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chago Valseca having to interfere. When Koldo Peñacastillo fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quimpapalca FC's protests and gave Koldo Peñacastillo a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes Quimpapalca FC got a freekick which was hit by Koldo Peñacastillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaskon Valdaliso in the 84th minute of play forced Vizcacha's goalkeeper Oxel Campon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Quimpapalca FC's Palben Lumbreras ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oxel Campon. Oxel Campon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Estefan Pliego charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Estefan Pliego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 92 minutes into the game, one of Quimpapalca FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Burni Carreras kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Quimpapalca FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quimpapalca FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
