Vigil Quintairos helped the player get up and apologised. If Matteo Cabrerizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matteo Cabrerizo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Eustaquio Zamarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauco. Ticani's Guillelmo Cabezudo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Illart Roberto in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jatsu Gallarde saved Sauco from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aires Zamudio got free with Eustaquio Zamarro in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vigil Quintairos got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 32nd minute, one of Ticani:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ticani. If Matteo Cabrerizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the game, Sauco's Aires Zamudio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustaquio Zamarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Aires Zamudio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aires Zamudio might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Zamarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aires Zamudio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Xulio Cuaron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustaquio Zamarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aires Zamudio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Matteo Cabrerizo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Zamarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Paulo Oquerruri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauco and the Ticani players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Oquerruri hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Guillelmo Cabezudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jatsu Gallarde having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matteo Cabrerizo in the 89th minute of play forced Ticani's goalkeeper Eustaquio Zamarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
