The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Ramirez Clarabout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lon Irulegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lon Irulegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manny Andaltia, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Ramirez Clarabout struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Lon Irulegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocopoto. Manny Andaltia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lon Irulegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mirgas FC defense, Ramirez Clarabout kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lon Irulegui. The Mirgas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lon Irulegui should have stopped the shot. Ramirez Clarabout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lon Irulegui having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Cocopoto's goal looked a bit too open when Restu Acipreste came free, but Ximenez Helguero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ximenez Helguero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Restu Acipreste in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manny Andaltia in the 31st minute of play forced Mirgas FC's goalkeeper Lon Irulegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lon Irulegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atauri Tomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cocopoto getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Atauri Tomas hit a great ball. After 40 minutes of play, Cocopoto's Ramirez Clarabout made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lon Irulegui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramirez Clarabout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Atauri Tomas came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Cocopoto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atauri Tomas couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramirez Clarabout made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Cocopoto's Ramirez Clarabout sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lon Irulegui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramirez Clarabout took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lon Irulegui. In the 63rd minute, Cocopoto's Ramirez Clarabout dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vimaro Faubelo during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cocopoto! Ramirez Clarabout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manny Andaltia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Lon Irulegui made a huge save. In the 86th minute Ramirez Clarabout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lon Irulegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Cocopoto could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mirgas FC throughout the match.
