Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Garoa Arichaga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Surupite booed when Cocopoto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Araso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes, Surupite's Xorxe Donis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ximenez Helguero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Surupite reached it. After 8 played minutes Cocopoto got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Araso. If Ramirez Clarabout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Eulalio Araso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cocopoto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surupite the free kick. Eulalio Araso kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ximenez Helguero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garoa Arichaga in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cocopoto's Atauri Tomas got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to Surupite getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Teyo Moroño hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramirez Clarabout in the 30th minute of play forced Surupite's goalkeeper Ramirez Mendaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manny Andaltia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Nuno Escalona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, Surupite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Mazuelos to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramirez Clarabout made a kick off. Katia Cortadelles's late challenge caught a Cocopoto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Katia Cortadelles helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Surupite's Katia Cortadelles got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ramirez Mendaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramirez Clarabout in the 56th minute of play. Cocopoto's Machado Bucaran suffered a concussion in the 57th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Benvide Zaitegui kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Surupite's goal looked a bit too open when Manny Andaltia came free, but Ramirez Mendaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Surupite's Garoa Arichaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ximenez Helguero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute Oswaldo Mazuelos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Cocopoto getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Atauri Tomas hit a great ball. Mitxel Bichesne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ximenez Helguero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Surupite players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
