After a rather tough play, ALIANZA LIMAO's Ciriaco Cortazar got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Anier Cantos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olaya City's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Cantos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ximenez Comas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Olaya City booed when ALIANZA LIMAO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Barnuevo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Cantos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ximenez Comas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Anier Cantos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ximenez Comas made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Cordaro Becerril put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ximenez Comas. After 42 played minutes ALIANZA LIMAO got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Cortazar. After 45 minutes ALIANZA LIMAO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilesindo Villaspasa who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Anier Cantos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Cordaro Becerril sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cordaro Becerril was the one to do the kick off. Cordaro Becerril fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximenez Comas having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, ALIANZA LIMAO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eguerdi Valmaseda to maneuver through the defense. ALIANZA LIMAO's Ximenez Comas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Cantos in the 57th minute of play. Ximenez Comas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Cantos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cordaro Becerril couldn't finish the play. Anier Cantos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ximenez Comas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximenez Comas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Cantos in the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Anier Cantos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olaya City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Cantos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olaya City's Cordaro Becerril got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
