To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Baudelio Cenal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Knight's zone, Pero Lantadilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmundo Abeitia came out of the goal and Pero Lantadilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gaur Pintor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knight's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaur Pintor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordi Monteros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Iscacircaya:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Knight:s goal. 29 minutes into the match, Iscacircaya's goal looked a bit too open when Olando Says came free, but Jordi Monteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvio Luna kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Olando Says shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordi Monteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordi Monteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olando Says, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Leoncio Cariga thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jordi Monteros, a very annoying self made goal in the 98th minute which led to 2-1. Iscacircaya's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
