Casomiro Mayorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rioja Covillas in the 4th minute of the match. Tadzio Zamorano took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casomiro Mayorga. Casomiro Mayorga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rioja Covillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Casomiro Mayorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Weterio Mendiguren got free with Rocendo Iriarte in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Trinchera FC's Rioja Covillas in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huyllane FBC's goalie prevented a goal. Aureo Olano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Trinchera FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Galtero Barquin hit a great ball. Rocendo Iriarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Weterio Mendiguren in the 32nd minute. Tadzio Zamorano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Casomiro Mayorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rioja Covillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Huyllane FBC's Mateus Tirado in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Huyllane FBC's Weterio Mendiguren got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bela Valderrabano fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinchera FC's protests and gave Bela Valderrabano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Trinchera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bela Valderrabano to maneuver through the defense. Casomiro Mayorga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rioja Covillas went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Huyllane FBC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trinchera FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadzio Zamorano was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weterio Mendiguren in the 54th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Rocendo Iriarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rioja Covillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadzio Zamorano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casomiro Mayorga. That made the score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trinchera FC's Argider Felipez got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 71st match minute, Huyllane FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iratzeder Eureste to maneuver through the defense. If Weterio Mendiguren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Trinchera FC booed when Huyllane FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iratzeder Eureste didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mateus Tirado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argider Felipez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casomiro Mayorga having to make a save. After having played for 96 minutes, Mateus Tirado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huyllane FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Tirado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Trinchera FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
