In the 15th minute, Xoan Ormaechea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Illuta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Illuta booed when Los Gochitos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartuelo Lombraña didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Illuta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gorka Cardeños should have stopped the shot. Xoan Ormaechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorencio Acha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Teberga having to interfere.

One of Illuta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Gochitos F.C.:s goal. The goalkeeper, Gorka Cardeños, was totally fooled by Los Gochitos F.C.'s Musko Urtueta, who 55 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Astor Sayago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frances Teberga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xoan Ormaechea in the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Xoan Ormaechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frances Teberga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Illuta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Musko Urtueta ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Los Gochitos F.C.'s corner Ulizes Llorengoz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gorka Cardeños quite easily take care of the ball. Chan Valenciano kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Illuta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Furman Garonaga to maneuver through the defense. Musko Urtueta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gorka Cardeños. Illuta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 94 played minutes Illuta got a freekick which was hit by Xalbador Zaitegui. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Gochitos F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
