Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carmelo Vidales made the kick off which started today's match. Carmelo Vidales was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Rancatama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 5 minutes into the match, Rancatama's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Gasca came free, but Guillerme Velis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vellito Remiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillerme Velis having to make a save. Cayo Idiaquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Ascencio Arindez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cayo Idiaquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ascencio Arindez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rancatama getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Otoniel Mascaran hit a great ball. Vellito Remiro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Carmelo Vidales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ascencio Arindez having to interfere. Cayo Idiaquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Chulones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Vidales came free, but Ascencio Arindez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Cayo Idiaquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ascencio Arindez. Chulones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cayo Idiaquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ascencio Arindez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Vidales, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Gasca made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Carmelo Vidales made a precise shot to the right of Ascencio Arindez. Chulones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ascencio Arindez came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Rancatama's Cayo Idiaquez. But to his dismay, Cayo Idiaquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ascencio Arindez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vidales in the 60th minute of play. If Carmelo Vidales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayo Idiaquez in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ascencio Arindez saved Chulones FC from getting behind. Ascencio Arindez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Vidales in the 74th minute of the match. Ascencio Arindez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Vidales, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the Chulones FC defense, Carmelo Vidales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ascencio Arindez. The Chulones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ascencio Arindez should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otoniel Mascaran during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Rancatama got a freekick which was hit by Otoniel Mascaran. Ascencio Arindez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vidales in the 84th minute of play. Ascencio Arindez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayo Idiaquez in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Afonso Gasca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Rancatama's Tab Caballeiro tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gauargi Mascarañas during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 98 minutes into the match, Chulones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Vidales came free, but Ascencio Arindez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chulones FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rancatama.
