The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Sporting cristal got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Gaitan. In the 9th minute, Hartz Rado fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Sporting cristal's Fortunato Gaitan got a free kick in the 10th minute. Hartz Rado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 minutes, German Sañez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tigre FC and the Sporting cristal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Selatse Camacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Fonelleda in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Fonelleda in the 25th minute of play forced Tigre FC's goalkeeper Selatse Camacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Tigre FC's Panfilo Brau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elequemedo Somovilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sancho Alison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Selatse Camacho having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Elequemedo Somovilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After taking down the ball on Tigre FC's corner Francisco Mascarañas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elequemedo Somovilla quite easily take care of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hartz Rado to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tigre FC's Hartz Rado in 54 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Elequemedo Somovilla guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 59th minute Hartz Rado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elequemedo Somovilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Sporting cristal's Ernesto Fonelleda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. 74 minutes into the match, Tigre FC's goalkeeper Selatse Camacho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sancho Alison. Panfilo Brau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Elequemedo Somovilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Sporting cristal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beltran Luga to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Sancho Alison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Fonelleda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 93 in the game by Sancho Alison from a close distance when the talented Selatse Camacho managed to make a qualified save. Tigre FC's players were relieved. Sancho Alison took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selatse Camacho. Selatse Camacho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sporting cristal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
