Xabel Camba started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Xabel Camba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Resto Muriedas could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Rameriz Goztros however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Alianza Ganadora getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Dorio Iturrate hit a great ball. When Kimetz Come fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apahuaique's protests and gave Kimetz Come a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Apahuaique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kimetz Come to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Apahuaique got a freekick which was hit by Izotz Santiuste. In the 27th minute, Xabel Camba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Castillejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rameriz Goztros having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Alianza Ganadora's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Haya came free, but Tono Peinado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Inocencio Tejada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Alianza Ganadora defense, Arnulfo Haya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tono Peinado. The Alianza Ganadora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tono Peinado should have stopped the shot. Tono Peinado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Haya, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Resto Muriedas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rameriz Goztros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rameriz Goztros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Castillejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Castillejo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armando Castillejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xabel Camba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tono Peinado having to make a save. After 59 minutes of play Apahuaique's Kimetz Come was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 60 played minutes Apahuaique got a freekick which was hit by Kimetz Come. Alianza Ganadora's Tono Peinado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Alianza Ganadora from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Haya got free with Tono Peinado in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Alianza Ganadora getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dorio Iturrate hit a great ball. Rameriz Goztros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resto Muriedas in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Alianza Ganadora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pellas Casarin to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Haya came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tono Peinado could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Haya in the 86th minute of play forced Alianza Ganadora's goalkeeper Tono Peinado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza Ganadora's goalkeeper Tono Peinado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Alianza Ganadora getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Duarte Pidrola hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Haya got free with Tono Peinado in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes Apahuaique got a freekick which was hit by Tohias Albuerne. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
