Spectators: 7377 (Terracing: 5515, Seating: 1862, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mikel Yañez started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Fidele Garonaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UNMSM FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Medero Ubera charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Medero Ubera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Medero Ubera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to UNMSM FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Medero Ubera hit a great ball. UNMSM FC's Fidele Garonaga got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tome Garmendia kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Julen Padron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kieran Newland's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Fidele Garonaga put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Julen Padron. In the 25thth minute of the game Fidele Garonaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ccatahuasi FBC's Julen Padron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kieran Newland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julen Padron having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Kieran Newland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UNMSM FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 33 minutes into the match, Fidele Garonaga notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Ccatahuasi FBC's Julen Padron. Julen Padron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fidele Garonaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Medero Ubera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julen Padron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidele Garonaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julen Padron having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kieran Newland to make the kick off. Fidele Garonaga struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Julen Padron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNMSM FC. Julen Padron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kieran Newland's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 68 minutes, Dominix Riva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ccatahuasi FBC and the UNMSM FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ccatahuasi FBC! Fidele Garonaga placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 72nd minute, Iraido Angosto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidele Garonaga took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julen Padron. Julen Padron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. The UNMSM FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when UNMSM FC's Kieran Newland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Ccatahuasi FBC's Julen Padron got control of the ball when Fidele Garonaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julen Padron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidele Garonaga went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. If Kieran Newland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Fidele Garonaga lined in a short shot 0-13 behind a frustrated Julen Padron. The crowd rose to their feet as UNMSM FC's Kieran Newland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julen Padron. That made the score 0-14 after 97 minutes of play. The Ccatahuasi FBC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UNMSM FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
