The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Indar Giumill made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Clodoveo Bracero sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Avengers getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gaizko Burualla hit a great ball. Peter Gavito's late challenge caught a First Person Shooter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Gavito helped the player get up and apologised. Mikelar Almaguer had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Natanael Urraburu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Placido Castaño hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes, Gaizko Burualla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avengers and the First Person Shooter players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Avengers's Gaizko Burualla got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Ferman Berti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Avengers's Mikelar Almaguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umea Yngles in the 18th minute of play. Ferman Berti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikelar Almaguer having to interfere. Umea Yngles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikelar Almaguer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, First Person Shooter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orland Ursua to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd match minute, First Person Shooter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orland Ursua to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Bracero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Indar Giumill. First Person Shooter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Bracero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 39 minutes of play Avengers's Gaizko Burualla was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of First Person Shooter booed when Avengers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaizko Burualla didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Umea Yngles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Umea Yngles struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mikelar Almaguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for First Person Shooter. 59 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Bracero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Indar Giumill. First Person Shooter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Bracero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. First Person Shooter's Ferman Berti got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Indar Giumill didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Avengers's Placido Castaño shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Indar Giumill came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Avengers's Clodoveo Bracero. But to his dismay, Clodoveo Bracero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Avengers were furious when Rodrigo Rutges was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Avengers! Natanael Urraburu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Umea Yngles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Avengers's Placido Castaño got a free kick in the 97th minute. First Person Shooter's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
