Inguma Muñoz struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Baltasar Lastra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pana. Narciso Terme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramirez Traveso in the 26th minute of play. When Laureano Herreras fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pana's protests and gave Laureano Herreras a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pana's Laureano Herreras got a free kick in the 27th minute. Laureano Herreras was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Laureano Herreras hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Victorio Pestaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Narciso Terme made a huge save. After having played for 47 minutes, Victorio Pestaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limatambo FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Pestaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramirez Traveso in the 90th minute of play forced Pana's goalkeeper Narciso Terme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Pana's goal looked a bit too open when Ramirez Traveso came free, but Narciso Terme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Limatambo FBC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pana had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
