Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Quintin Torrens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gartzi Irabien who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Intxixu Tebe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 6th minute Patrido Lalatu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romildo Camposa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Salvarri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Bizoso to maneuver through the defense. Romildo Camposa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintin Torrens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Quintin Torrens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gartzi Irabien in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Intxixu Tebe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Xavier Elzuardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Bizoso charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Bizoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Salvarri got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Bizoso. If Quintin Torrens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Patrido Lalatu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caracancha FBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrido Lalatu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romildo Camposa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute Patrido Lalatu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romildo Camposa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cosme Hurtaran fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caracancha FBC's protests and gave Cosme Hurtaran a yellow card for diving instead. Xavier Elzuardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Intxixu Tebe having to interfere. Intxixu Tebe was a little too slow when Eugenio Bizoso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 44th minute, Isauro Cunyat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Bizoso in the 46th minute of play forced Caracancha FBC's goalkeeper Intxixu Tebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Caracancha FBC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Pliego. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavier Elzuardi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gartzi Irabien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Intxixu Tebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kusko Guiluz, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Xavier Elzuardi took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Intxixu Tebe. Intxixu Tebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 66th minute Xavier Elzuardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Intxixu Tebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vimaro Verganzo's late challenge caught a Salvarri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vimaro Verganzo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Caracancha FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vimaro Verganzo to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Elzuardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Xavier Elzuardi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Intxixu Tebe was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Elzuardi in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Intxixu Tebe saved Caracancha FBC from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Cosme Hurtaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Xavier Elzuardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salvarri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Elzuardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gartzi Irabien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Intxixu Tebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Salvarri booed when Caracancha FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vimaro Verganzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvarri's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
