The referee ignored Macheteros's protests and gave Germano Folguera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd minute, Germano Folguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Macheteros's Janpier Hermo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bastiaro Laso. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. After 7 played minutes Macheteros got a freekick which was hit by Eguntsenti Llano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Servando Fontecilla got free with Bastiaro Laso in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Macheteros's Janpier Hermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bastiaro Laso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bastiaro Laso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janpier Hermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Epichaya's Guillelme Araico got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Servando Fontecilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Janpier Hermo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Macheteros got a freekick which was hit by Eguntsenti Llano. Piearres Godines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosario Pangua kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Epichaya's Bastiaro Laso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janpier Hermo in the 74th minute of play. Piearres Godines kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Christian Saez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Guillelme Araico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes, Modestio Gilavert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macheteros and the Epichaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Janpier Hermo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Macheteros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janpier Hermo couldn't finish the play. Macheteros's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
