José Berger took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garin Garrandes. Garin Garrandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bartolo Barricat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Garin Garrandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Barricat scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garin Garrandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Laurenciano in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AS THON TERIAS FC's zone, José Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garin Garrandes came out of the goal and José Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xacobo Barragan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of AS THON TERIAS FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético Xatun Xauxa:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in AS THON TERIAS FC's zone, Bartolo Barricat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garin Garrandes came out of the goal and Bartolo Barricat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Berger in the 30th minute of play forced AS THON TERIAS FC's goalkeeper Garin Garrandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garin Garrandes came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Xatun Xauxa's Bartolo Barricat. But to his dismay, Bartolo Barricat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, Bartolo Barricat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garin Garrandes. AS THON TERIAS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Barricat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 41 minutes into the match, Bartolo Barricat notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of AS THON TERIAS FC's Garin Garrandes. Garin Garrandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Dida Saraiva made a precise shot to the right of Garin Garrandes. AS THON TERIAS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The wind increased when Lopes Llanez made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Atlético Xatun Xauxa's Dida Saraiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 56th minute, Dida Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garin Garrandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Barricat in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, AS THON TERIAS FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after José Berger fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bartolo Barricat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garin Garrandes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Garin Garrandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pedro Paulo Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Paulo Ferro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Garin Garrandes made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, AS THON TERIAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Barricat came free, but Garin Garrandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AS THON TERIAS FC's Garin Garrandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Berger in the 72nd minute of play. Bartolo Barricat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Atlético Xatun Xauxa's José Berger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Garin Garrandes. Garin Garrandes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. 83 minutes into the match, Pedro Paulo Ferro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garin Garrandes. AS THON TERIAS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Paulo Ferro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. In the 87th minute Bartolo Barricat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garin Garrandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético Xatun Xauxa's José Berger got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Hodei Guim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgar Santana. Atlético Xatun Xauxa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Lopes Llanez came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the AS THON TERIAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lopes Llanez couldn't finish the play. The AS THON TERIAS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Xatun Xauxa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
