In the 12th minute Nardo Zabarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Machado Rozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Peruxu Alcivia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kemen Sardaneta. Club Deportivo Ilo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peruxu Alcivia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zayvion Carreira during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Peruanos FC's Erauso Ceceil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Erauso Ceceil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Peruanos FC's zone, Nardo Zabarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Machado Rozano came out of the goal and Nardo Zabarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peruanos FC's Machado Rozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nardo Zabarte in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erauso Ceceil to strike the kick off in the second half. Peruxu Alcivia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kemen Sardaneta having to interfere. When Nardo Zabarte came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Club Deportivo Ilo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nardo Zabarte couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the game, Erauso Ceceil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Kemen Sardaneta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pellas Alcolea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-0 became the score in the 75th minute when Peruxu Alcivia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Peruanos FC's Machado Rozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nardo Zabarte in the 83rd minute of play. If Pellas Alcolea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urki Lugunez's late challenge caught a Peruanos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urki Lugunez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Deportivo Ilo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Urki Lugunez hit a great ball. After 92 minutes of play, Peruanos FC's Gregory Ucles made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kemen Sardaneta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Peruanos FC's Gregory Ucles got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Peruanos FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
