When Edur Valdueza got free in front of the goal in the 8th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tabb Almaraz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vitorino Soto's late challenge caught a Cochambra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitorino Soto helped the player get up and apologised. Vitorino Soto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Andres Campa came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cochambra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Campa couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Medinilla hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Colon Arizcun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cienciano's Tabb Almaraz didn't even have to move. Epifanio Robres scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jurgi Villagomez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cochambra's Edur Valdueza got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tabb Almaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Campa in the 37th minute of play. Epifanio Robres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Cochambra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Epifanio Robres fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

56 minutes into the game, Gaizka Aveo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cochambra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cienciano the free kick. Gaizka Aveo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Diogo Lacalle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurgi Villagomez having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Cienciano got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Medinilla. Andres Campa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Tabb Almaraz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Cienciano's Diogo Lacalle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jurgi Villagomez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andres Campa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tabb Almaraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitorino Soto kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Colon Arizcun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tabb Almaraz skillfully saved the ball. Andres Campa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edur Valdueza in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tabb Almaraz saved Cienciano from getting behind. When Cochambra's Edur Valdueza in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cienciano's goalie prevented a goal. Jurgi Villagomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Robres, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 88 played minutes Cochambra got a freekick which was hit by Fidencio Mostaza. Cienciano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elias Marsol in the 92nd minute. The corner ended in Elias Marsol almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cochambra's Jurgi Villagomez did a great save. After a rather tough play, Cienciano's Ariel Jado got a free kick in the 94th minute. Cienciano's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
