After having played for 3 minutes, Ronaldo Espinoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornopampa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Espinoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabrio Teran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manolo Braojos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xusto Najera, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Xusto Najera took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manolo Braojos. Manolo Braojos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Honorato Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Elite FCP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Abechuco couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Abechuco in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Toledano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Elite FCP getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Paulino Mayorga hit a great ball. Ronaldo Espinoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Elite FCP's zone, Xusto Najera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolo Braojos came out of the goal and Xusto Najera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gabrio Teran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Ornopampa's Maria Cela got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ornopampa's Teofilo Toledano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Abechuco in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Xusto Najera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolo Braojos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xusto Najera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Braojos having to interfere. Ornopampa's Teofilo Toledano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Gayangos in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Honorato Abechuco made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Primeiro Aldana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Honorato Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Toledano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ornopampa's Rito Silveira got a free kick in the 58th minute. Elite FCP's Manolo Braojos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xusto Najera in the 63rd minute of play. Gabrio Teran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Teofilo Toledano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ronaldo Espinoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ornopampa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Espinoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolo Braojos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute Xusto Najera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolo Braojos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ronaldo Espinoso fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ornopampa's protests and gave Ronaldo Espinoso a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Ornopampa got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Espinoso. If Honorato Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Honorato Abechuco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elite FCP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When Honorato Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Elite FCP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Abechuco couldn't finish the play. Ornopampa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
