Gipuzkoa Lada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pellas Cantillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xusto Lagala might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paublo Guerrico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xusto Lagala ran back to his position shaking his head. Xusto Lagala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Paublo Guerrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gipuzkoa Lada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacorro Joara in the 32nd minute of play. If Pellas Cantillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gipuzkoa Lada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacorro Joara in the 42nd minute of the match. Gipuzkoa Lada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pacorro Joara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iparragirre Martioda couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cayumba walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
