The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urko Moreira during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romo Cerdeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oihenarte Aranzabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Jaraya FBC got a freekick which was hit by Eutor Digon. Lalo Asarta scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pepe Burgueño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Lidon Hero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Romo Cerdeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pepe Burgueño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lalo Asarta's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oihenarte Aranzabal made a kick off. Lidon Hero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oihenarte Aranzabal struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Romo Cerdeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaraya FBC. 57 minutes into the match, DESTRUCTOR's Eron Revillas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pepe Burgueño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gorri Navas during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to DESTRUCTOR getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gorri Navas hit a great ball. In the 62nd match minute, DESTRUCTOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christobal Salvador to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Lalo Asarta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lalo Asarta might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pepe Burgueño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lalo Asarta ran back to his position shaking his head. Lidon Hero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romo Cerdeira having to interfere. If Eutor Digon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Oihenarte Aranzabal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaraya FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oihenarte Aranzabal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Jaraya FBC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing DESTRUCTOR to win.
