Mancos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Libertad the free kick. After 8 played minutes Mancos FC got a freekick which was hit by Innocenzio Tafoya. Nazario Oromi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Cespedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Bernabe Lodero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mingo Pola having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Bernabe Lodero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mancos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Lodero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mingo Pola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mingo Pola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Olivera in the 16th minute of play. Bernabe Lodero struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mingo Pola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mancos FC. In the 25th minute Horado Villarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nazario Oromi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nazario Oromi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Cespedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Innocenzio Tafoya hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Innocenzio Tafoya kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Mingo Pola never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Frasco Miar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Libertad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frasco Miar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Frasco Miar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mancos FC's Nazario Oromi. Nazario Oromi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Miguel Teza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Innocenzio Tafoya took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mingo Pola to make any attempt to save it. The long shot by Ruisko Corces in the 47th minute really tested Mingo Pola's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Erasmo Olivera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mingo Pola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Giro Gestoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bernabe Lodero came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Mancos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Lodero couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in AC Libertad's zone, Giro Gestoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mingo Pola came out of the goal and Giro Gestoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mancos FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AC Libertad to leave the ground with a draw.
