In the 25th minute of the match, Rocendo Cuñat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rogerio Cortazar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Emenon Alonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Emenon Alonzo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rogerio Cortazar. Emenon Alonzo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rocendo Cuñat got free with Rogerio Cortazar in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. arcangeles's Emenon Alonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dimo Bien fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montalvo's protests and gave Dimo Bien a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Montalvo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dimo Bien hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Montalvo's goal looked a bit too open when Emenon Alonzo came free, but Rogerio Cortazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emenon Alonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Cortazar having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 56thth minute of the game Rocendo Cuñat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montalvo's Rogerio Cortazar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Montalvo's Tancredo Porlier got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Emenon Alonzo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Montalvo's Rogerio Cortazar. Rogerio Cortazar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Hodei Rosario successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 89 minutes of play, arcangeles's Emenon Alonzo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogerio Cortazar was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dimo Bien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in arcangeles's zone, Tancredo Porlier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hodei Rosario came out of the goal and Tancredo Porlier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montalvo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
