The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alianz E.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ursino Fontanes was slow to take the kick. During this time Alianza Lima's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Alianza Lima's Ursino Fontanes to fire away a dangerous shot which Ahmet Korcan Oylum despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 12th minute Severiano Barquerin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manni Betances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elija Arin kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A hard shot 18 in the game by Manni Viguri from a close distance when the talented Ahmet Korcan Oylum managed to make a qualified save. Alianz E.C's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Agreda in the 23rd minute of play forced Alianz E.C's goalkeeper Ahmet Korcan Oylum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Prejun Quicedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Severiano Barquerin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manni Betances was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Severiano Barquerin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alianz E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Barquerin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manni Betances breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edilberto Casiano in the 48th minute of play forced Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Manni Betances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Agreda made a kick off. When Edilberto Casiano came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Alianz E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edilberto Casiano couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Korcan Oylum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elija Arin in the 56th minute of play. Manni Betances made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manilan Abajas in the 57th minute. Prejun Quicedo's late challenge caught a Alianza Lima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prejun Quicedo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alianz E.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Edilberto Casiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manni Betances having to interfere. Severiano Barquerin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Alianza Lima getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gomez Barroiz hit a great ball. Edilberto Casiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Manni Betances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Korcan Oylum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Agreda in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Edilberto Casiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manni Betances took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manilan Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manilan Abajas scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manni Betances, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Edilberto Casiano came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Alianz E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edilberto Casiano couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Korcan Oylum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Agreda in the 97th minute of the match. Alianz E.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
