After some careless play in the Cristal defense, Emeterio Querejeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Txema Sañez. The Cristal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Txema Sañez should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Gilen Padron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huancahuasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cristal the free kick. After 23 played minutes Huancahuasi got a freekick which was hit by Gilen Padron. Cristal's Rocendo Fleytas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Huancahuasi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Largacha got free with Enzo Enciso in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilen Padron in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Txema Sañez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Bidun Bao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Largacha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Enzo Enciso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Enciso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Piñeiros in the 57th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Cristal's Santiago Piñeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Enciso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emeterio Querejeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristal's Txema Sañez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Cristal from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Piñeiros in the 78th minute of play forced Huancahuasi's goalkeeper Enzo Enciso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Huancahuasi got a freekick which was hit by Furtado Soba. 80 minutes into the game, Felix Largacha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Enzo Enciso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Emeterio Querejeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Enciso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Piñeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Cristal's goal looked a bit too open when Bidun Bao came free, but Txema Sañez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bidun Bao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Txema Sañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emeterio Querejeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huancahuasi played a much better game than Cristal and deserved their victory. The Cristal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
