Clemente Argüero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Velarroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Castulo Peroria to make the kick off. Jonas Laviada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benet Canzino in the 51st minute of the match. After 52 played minutes La Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ilixo Ruega. Benet Canzino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Laviada having to interfere. Benet Canzino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Laviada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Santiago Velarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Velarroa might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Argüero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Velarroa ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Velarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Argüero having to interfere. The La Academia FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
