Oropesa FC's Frances Runs got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martinez Palacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frances Runs in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asteri Aizaran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martinez Palacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frances Runs went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gomez Almansa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fidensio Besteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frances Runs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Maxin Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hats Chirinos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidensio Besteiro. Jose-Antonio Feijoo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose-Antonio Feijoo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Oropesa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Oropesa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
