Jairo Loño charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo Loño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Botuayoc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Loño to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Botuayoc got a freekick which was hit by Oinaz Arzube. Ordono Masses recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, AFC Wolfs's Silvano Olave got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Nerio Hostos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hulberto Dias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Botuayoc's Prospero Manzardo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hulberto Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ordono Masses in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cortez Caceres saved Botuayoc from getting behind. Hulberto Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Guipuzcoa in the 24th minute of the match. A hard shot 28 in the game by Ordono Masses from a close distance when the talented Cortez Caceres managed to make a qualified save. Botuayoc's players were relieved. In the 32nd minute, one of AFC Wolfs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AFC Wolfs. If Aztore Freijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ordono Masses received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cortez Caceres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Guipuzcoa's late challenge caught a AFC Wolfs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Guipuzcoa helped the player get up and apologised. Teofilo Guipuzcoa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A hard shot 44 in the game by Ordono Masses from a close distance when the talented Cortez Caceres managed to make a qualified save. Botuayoc's players were relieved. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ordono Masses to strike the kick off in the second half. Aztore Freijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Aztore Freijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Guipuzcoas short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Hulberto Dias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Botuayoc's Teofilo Guipuzcoa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to AFC Wolfs getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Aztore Freijo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ordono Masses's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cortez Caceres was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the game, AFC Wolfs's Joseph Pecina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cortez Caceres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
